EL Estanque explores the surface of water as a space of contemplation and memory. Through layered colour, translucent washes and textured surfaces, the work suggests a landscape suspended between depth and reflection, where light fragments the perception of the horizon. Rather than depicting a specific place, the painting evokes a state of being — stillness, expansion and inner resonance. The pond becomes a metaphor for introspection and for the emotional territory that exists beneath what is visible.
