My inspiration
My work explores the relationship between the human mind and the natural world.
I am drawn to the vastness of mountains, the movement of water, and the subtle shifts of light filtering through clouds. Through energetic, fluid brushstrokes and a refined color palette, I aim to evoke an emotional landscape, one that invites contemplation, presence, and inner connection.
With a background in graphic design, I have researched the psychological and neurological effects of color, light, and natural environments on human wellbeing. This research informs my practice: I am particularly interested in how artistic representations of nature can activate neural pathways associated with calm, emotional regulation, and overall psychological balance.
By working with layered textures, pigments, and mixed materials, I recreate sensations found in natural spaces.
My process is rooted in the concept of Biophilia, our innate tendency to seek connection with life and living systems. Through this approach, my paintings aim to offer viewers moments of grounding and ease, supporting a sense of mental and emotional well-being through the restorative qualities of nature.

NEW SERIE
Cabo Byron: «Where the Sea Speaks with the Land»
The land gently curves toward the sea; the waves seem to speak with the green hills. Byron is a place where elements meet: calm and strength, nature and spirit, silence and movement—where freedom meets introspection, and matter meets soul.
There, the sound of the waves, the whisper of the wind, and the song of the birds surround you. Those who come are often searching for something more than just scenery. Since Aboriginal times, Cape Byron has been regarded as a place of deep spiritual significance.
Each painting in this series seeks to capture its essence: a whisper of wholeness and introspection, with a soul that remains forever young, inviting us to move, to feel, to create.
Biophilia: the innate human affinity for life and living systems.
A concept introduced by biologist E.O. Wilson to explain our evolutionary bond with nature. Research in environmental psychology and neuroscience suggests that we are biologically predisposed to respond positively to natural patterns, fractal geometries, organic proportions, and dynamic light conditions.
Studies in neuroaesthetics and stress physiology indicate that even minimal exposure to natural elements—whether through landscapes, vegetation, or abstracted natural forms, can regulate the nervous system, lower cortisol levels, reduce mental fatigue, and support cognitive restoration. The brain unconsciously recognizes organic structures and rhythmical variations found in nature, triggering neural responses associated with safety, trust, and emotional equilibrium.
My work explores how abstract representations of landscapes can activate these restorative mechanisms. Through layered textures, chromatic depth, fluid gestures, and spatial openness, I aim to recreate sensory conditions that echo the organic order of the natural world. Rather than depicting nature literally, I translate its patterns into immersive visual environments.
Through this practice, I seek to evoke calm, grounding, and subtle joy, engaging the viewer in a quiet neurological dialogue that reconnects perception with the rhythms of life.
