Green is associated with nature and life. A yellow-toned green suggests energy, while a touch of violet gives it a more utopian quality. All of this comes together through movement, growth and transformation.

Santa Teresa

You are never quite sure whether it is real or whether you are dreaming. The climate, the energy of the place and the people invite you to relax and let go of what you no longer need. It creates the possibility of pausing your routine, slowing down and becoming more aware of what surrounds you. Disconnecting in order to reconnect.

Sunsets were my favourite part of the day: long walks along the beach, sharing mate, watching the surfers, taking a yoga class and meditating. But the sky — wow, that sky. I had never seen sunsets with colours like those before. The entire sky would become covered in violets, fuchsias, reds and yellows. When there were a few clouds, it was even more extraordinary. Like Newton’s prism, the light seemed to pass through them and unfold into an entire spectrum of tones and nuances.

This series seeks to revive the sense of magic I experienced in that place through colour and texture. Pura vida.
