My practice explores the relationship between perception, environment and inner experience.

My work begins with an encounter with nature: light, rhythm, movement, atmosphere and material qualities. Rather than representing a landscape literally, I translate these observations through colour, texture, materiality and abstraction, allowing intuition and experimentation to guide the process.

Working across painting, objects and spatial  experiences, I am interested in how an artwork can become more than something to look at, and instead create a condition for attention, stillness and presence.

My research is informed by biophilia, neuroaesthetics and environmental psychology, particularly the ways natural patterns and sensory qualities shape how we experience a space. I do not seek to prescribe what the viewer should feel. Instead, I am interested in creating enough space for them to slow down, become present and encounter their own perceptual and inner state.

In a culture of constant stimulation, I am drawn to the possibility that art can offer the opposite: not more noise, but room for silence.
