Terms & Conditions

By purchasing an artwork or object through this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Original Works & Handmade Objects

All artworks and handmade objects are original pieces created by Sofía Eckholt unless otherwise stated.

Because each work is handmade, small variations in colour, texture, surface and form are part of the individual character of the piece and should not be considered defects.

Colours may also vary slightly depending on screen settings and lighting conditions.

Pricing

All prices displayed on this website are in Australian Dollars (AUD), unless otherwise stated.

Prices do not include shipping, customs duties, import taxes or other destination specific charges unless explicitly indicated.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is arranged separately according to the destination, size, weight and requirements of each work.

After an order is placed, the studio will contact you to confirm the delivery address and provide the appropriate shipping arrangements and, where required, a separate shipping quote.

Original paintings and larger works are professionally packed according to their size and destination. International shipping may require additional packaging, insurance or customs documentation.

Smaller handmade objects, including mates and incense holders, are carefully packaged to protect them during transit.

The artwork or object will be dispatched once any applicable shipping costs have been confirmed and paid.

If the purchaser does not wish to proceed after receiving the shipping quote, the studio may cancel and refund the original purchase before the work has been dispatched.

Delivery times vary depending on destination and carrier. Any estimated delivery timeframe is provided as a guide and cannot be guaranteed.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT or other charges imposed by the destination country.

These costs are not included in the purchase price or shipping quotation unless specifically stated.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information.

Damage During Transit

All works are packaged with care.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact the studio as soon as possible after delivery and provide photographs of:

  • the artwork or object,
  • the packaging,
  • and any visible damage to the parcel.

Please retain the original packaging while the issue is being assessed.

Where shipping insurance applies, the studio will assist with the relevant claim.

Returns & Change of Mind

Due to the original and one-of-a-kind nature of the works, returns for change of mind are not generally accepted.

This does not exclude any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantees apply automatically to eligible purchases and cannot be excluded by these Terms & Conditions.

If there is a problem with your order, please contact the studio so that an appropriate solution can be arranged.

Sold Works

Once payment has been successfully completed, the work will be considered sold and removed from available stock.

Because many works are unique, only one unit of each original artwork or handmade object may be available.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact the studio as soon as possible.

Orders that have already been packed, dispatched or committed to a shipping provider may not be cancellable, except where required by law.

Copyright

Purchase of an artwork transfers ownership of the physical work only.

Copyright and reproduction rights remain with Sofía Eckholt unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Images of artworks may not be reproduced, commercially used or distributed without permission.
