CABO BYRON SERIES

Wategos draws from the coastal landscape of Byron Bay, translating light, movement, texture and the shifting relationship between water and land into an abstract composition. Rather than reproducing the landscape literally, the work explores what remains of a place through perception, its rhythm, atmosphere and sensory memory.
